Fireplace refacing
AFTER - full frontal shot of wrapped fireplace. Had to build a frame to attach the MDF to. It was very important to find tiny quarter round to tuck into the panels above the fireplace -- otherwise it would look like 1x2s stuck to the front of the fireplace. We didn't go with a mantel because my inspiration fireplace didn't have one -- I don't miss it. Also, code required that flammable materials be a certain distance from the firebox & the mantel would have been mounted too high to make me happy. Homeowner took photos
