Eaglemont Bathroom

This was a dark bathroom with the toilet in a separate room and a shower with little light. The internal walls were removed as well as the window over the toilet. The remaining window was enlarged and a skylight added over the vanity. The black freestanding bath takes pride of place under the window. Black gloss cabinetry was used to coordinate with the bath. The basin is integrated with the Corian benchtop in Glacier White. A clear blade of glass allows for a walk-in shower. There is a niche in the shower wall for shampoos and toiletries with the heated towel rail close by. The wall hung toilet allows for ease of cleaning and a large open look to the bathroom. Floor tiles are continued up the wall of the shower. The timber door in this mid-century modern house remains to give a connection to the rest of the house. A large shallow cabinet is recessed into the wall above the vanity. The mirror doors reflect light and this simple yet glamorous bathroom.
