Dolores Heeb Residence
We broke open a half wall between what was a small kitchen and a breakfast/ game room. We then extending the kitchen toward the only available natural light in these rooms. Because there was so little, we chose many reflective surfaces and alternate lighting sources to allow for various moods, depending on which one of the six sets of lights were used. Warm pale yellow and peach tones in the marble were used as inspiration for the coloring of the surrounding cement counters.
