DIY Handmade Fireplace Surround and Mantel

Our existing fireplace needed to be replaced due to damage. Instead of ordering a replacement online I decided to build a custom fireplace surround and mantel out of stock lumber, molding and tile from our local Home Improvement store. The whole project only cost around $150. You can take a closer look at this DIY fireplace on my website.
