Dedham Contemporary
This former ranch now provides all the living space needs both inside and out. The garage alignment required a large circulation space adjacent to the front of the house. To soften this, a narrow garden set behind a stone wall attracts views from these windows and gives a seasonal change to this architectural elevation. The swimming pool is simple and set within a lawn surround. The perimeter fence is almost invisible where lawn sweeps down a slope to the woodland edge below. Perched above this is a mixed border garden off the kitchen, and a curved terrace just outside the living room. Rustic granite steps passes through shrub and groundcover drifts to the lawn below.
