This bed is made of beautiful reclaimed wood, salvaged from barns across america. The wood is left as close to its original character as possible, with only a light oiled finish. All of the saw marks, nail holes, cuts, bruises and scars from its life as a barn help each bed tell its own story.
This bed is designed to be beautiful and useful. We combined our reclaimed wood with available parts from a certain Swedish furniture manufacturer to create a hybrid-custom bed, that interfaces with their widely available and inexpensive storage lines. We think it is the best of two worlds--unique, custom design and available utility. The compartments below the bed house 15 slots for slide-in baskets or boxes. The front of the bed will slide out to give access to 24 sqft of additional storage. If you live in a tight space, have children with toys or just need nice looking bedroom storage, this is a great solution.
