The tall slender windows in this room were calling out for elegant single panel curtains, a pair of curtains would be too crowded for this type of window. Another option, if you have similar proportioned windows, would be to consider Roman blinds with pelmets – but we prefer single curtains in a large room like this.
Finishing the room with a side table, a stunning teal glass lamp and cool printed silk cushions for pops of colour. Adding some vibrant accents against neutral sofas and walls is such a great way to play with different tones and textures, and really elevate a room.
