Sweet Chestnut ia an extremely stable timber for flooring. It has a very similar appearance to oak but lacks the silver-grain figure characteristics of that timber. Displaying some darker brown mineral streaks which blend into the movement of the grain, chestnut solid wood flooring offers both contrast and warmth creating a beautiful and decorative floor.
