Owners of this 1950s home were drawn to traditional forms expressed in a youthful way. A vibrant wall color freshens English-style paneling. The French chair near the fireplace is modernized in neutrals with a black lacquer frame and a classic chair gets an update via a bold floral pattern. Custom-designed cove molding adds appropriate scale to the space.
