Busy Family Home in Gloucestershire

This busy kitchen is located in Gloucestershire and the family of five use the space for lots of home cooking, entertaining guests and a home working space. We did the design and then the cabinetry was manufactured in Pennsylvania by our suppliers, Christiana Cabinetry. We imported and installed it. This client wanted a contemporary finish, we achieved this with white cabinets, grey accents and pops of colour. We were generous with space in this design, allowing the family to move freely without tripping over each other. We used High Society Rockefeller Marble Mosaic Tiles by Fired Earth behind the hob, the geometric shape maintains the modern finish. Our client chose a grey ceramic worktop from Precious Marble. This worktop has stain resistant properties and items can be taken out of the oven and placed directly onto it without marking it. Our client told us they enjoy home cooking and often ran out of oven space. We listened to their problem and included Miele side by side ovens in our design, giving them plenty of space to cook to entertain guests. To maintain consistency and style, we disguised our client’s dishwasher as drawers. We also supplied a large Miele induction hob and dishwasher for this project. Cupboard organisation was something this client said was important to them, so we designed stunning walnut rollouts to allow them to view and access all food stored. The perfectly smooth edges show Christiana Cabinetry’s superior craftsmanship. We scribed LED lights into the walls of the pantries, creating a high-quality finish and ensuring everything in the cupboard can be clearly viewed.
