Bear & Beau
Bear & Beau specialises in luxury home decor for kids. Based in her home studio in South London, founder and creative director, Corinne Caddy-Townshend, creates handcrafted prints for wallpaper, cushions and art prints.
Corinne’s entrepreneurial flair blossomed at an early age when she created and sold her own watercolour artwork in school to friends as a hobby. She went on to specialise in graphic design at university and then landed a series of top roles in the design and advertising industry. Her 20 year career, working largely as Design Director or Head of Art Direction, features work with high-profile luxury brands across multiple markets – inc fashion, retail, beauty and fragrance.
Soon after becoming a mother, Corinne found herself returning to her childhood hobby, sketching animals and other motifs from nature. She quickly realised these illustrations were the perfect way to channel her creative instincts and give her the freedom to combine a new life as both a mother and an entrepreneur. The unique, timeless artwork became the backdrop for this stylish interiors brand which appeals to adults and children alike, and Bear & Beau was born.
