BannockBurn 1878 Interiors
Our 1878 stone farmhouse needed extensive renovations when we bought it. We wanted to do our best to create a historically sympathetic feeling with the new materials we added. After removing five different kinds of flooring from the main level we laid white oak throughout and stained it in place with a semitransparent white stain. I chose a light and airy paint scheme to allow the architecture, art and antiques to speak.
