Using old deck spindles and boards, I created base for bar and topped it with reclaimed granite (from kitchen reno.) Having old stone recut was relatively inexpensive (3 tops for $250) and the wood cost nothing! Great, inexpensive project and also works as a nice outdoor writing table with a bar stool.
