Attic to Guest Suite
The attic in this 1912 Georgian colonial in an historic North Baltimore neighborhood was once used for a live-in servant. Long abandoned, the present owner wanted to use it for guests and for a casual television room. The challenges were to cover the attic AC unit and how to fit a full bath into the space. The AC unit was surrounded by bookcases and window seats and the bath was done by cleverly using a dormer window as the shower. While the space was completed on a budget, some luxurious touches, such as the Duravit sink and fixtures, make it all seem very luxurious. The bedroom isn't shown here.
