Artists' Refuge
Designed this house for a couple of discerning art collectors in an existing 1950s residential neighborhood.
The brief was for a modern style home, open to as much light as possible and with views across the new garden to the river beyond.
Open-plan, soaring interior spaces were created to accentuate the 1200 sq. ft. house. All storage was designed to be discreet, modern furniture was purchased to accentuate the interior spaces and proved to be a perfect foil for the winter landscape which now becomes part of the owners' expanding art collection!
