An old school new build
Having lived all over the world, the client was determined to build and own his first family home in New Zealand. It was a dream project for Rob Yule and his committed workers. “We pay great attention to detail in all of the houses we build, but this was unique. These
days, we don’t often get to use our building finishing skills to do all the fiddly tasks with the timber, like the finials,” says Rob. “The project reminded me of the kind of houses I worked on in Auckland during my apprenticeship before I moved to Wanaka. It was a good feeling crafting with the timber again.”
