10 Normandie Terrace Entry
An extensive, diligent refurbishing of a home by Bay Area midcentury-modern icon William Wurster, greatly admired by the present owners. The rehabilitation proceeded strictly within the spirits of his original upgrade, including a three-story steel moment-frame cleverly fit into the existing mullions of the house's rear window wall. Ill-conceived 1970s alterations were removed and a complete interior remodel was untaken, with a faithful restoration of the original woodwork.
