really like the idea of a plate rack over the sink/dishwashers rather than a window. easy to put away dishes. Must be sturdy, would hate to see plates fall. Must also be washable. I hated the plate rack in Alamogordo, felt like it was a dust magnet

Love the floor to ceiling look of this bookcase. surrounding the mantle. I think though it might make the mantle less of a focal point for the room.

exactly what I'm looking for... not the design of the table but the use of the table. Need to have the top created for V and I at 5'7" and 5"11. I like the simple lines. Need to think about chairs. may need to have some made taller to match the height of the table. I dislike stools.
