I would stay with the high gloss and the brokhult for a really well put together kitchen. I have high gloss cabinets from Ikea they are from the old line but they are 10 yrs. old look like new and I run a catering biz from my kitchen I have them in a few clients homes too and no problems . I mixed mine with the stainless cabinets just on my stove wall This is a nice way to mix the 2 styles that might work for you
