Bath 2 - Selections

Design Concept (Options A = cost savings option):
Room Floor A: Lagos Azul stone tile in 12x12 on a diagonal.
Room Floor B: Lagos Azul stone tile border surrounding a lighter colored stone in 2x2's or mosaics as the field tile.
Room Walls A: a soft/light gray or a warm ivory tone paint. An ivory paint would be especially nice if a stone mosaic is used on the floor.
Room Walls B: Lagos Azul wainscot tile (see left images below...with wainscot only a few inches above vanity top, however.) and a soft very light gray, white, or light ivory tone paint above.
Vanity Top: Lagos Azul.
Tub/shower Surround A: white glazed subway tile.
Tub/shower Surround B: white glazed subway tile with accent band that picks up the flooring stone mosaic or 2x2's.

This bath highlights the use of Lagos Azul stone as the wainscot & vanity top. Offers a snappy contrast with the crisp white of the vanity. Walls above could be white as shown or a very light gray. Ivory tone paint would work well if flooring is a mosaic with ivory stones.

Flooring could be entirely Lagos Azul tiles or it could combine the Lagos Azul with a smaller field tile to lighten the room and give it more interest. This image shows a 2x2 field tile vs. a mosaic...an option to consider to lessening the cost and the number of grout joints.
