The 10 Most Popular New Kitchen Photos of 2017

Q

Love the utensil drawer directly below the stovetop- no more reaching for tools! I'd place a large, clear backplate behind the drawer pull though, as it will most likely be opened quite often by dirty, greasy cooking/baking hands.

Q

I like the colors/stain in this kitchen, except for the white hood.

19 Design Tricks to Maximize a Small Kitchen

Q

Absolutely LOVE this idea! I saw it in another post rolling out from under an island top, where it doubled the island size. This one doesn't look like it has wheels on it though. Hmmm...how does it glide on the floor without leaving a mark?

Cabinet Organizer

Q

$160 W/FREE SHIPPING Has 7 hooks, unit holds up to 100 lbs, recommended installation in a full size cabinet, $287 for double set. I would first try hanging the pots and pans without the lids, to be sure they all fit in the depth of the cabinet.

THAT ISLAND! That ceiling!

I think the panels on this fridge, framing the water/ice dispenser, look great! It's the first decent looking one I've seen.

Q

Photo

I would've spent a bit more to have the fridge painted or built out the cabs so fridge could open, but not show black body. The black fridge sticking out of the white cabs looks awful- white, black, stainless steel, dark stain- just too much going on.

Q

Photo

Really do NOT like the mix of solid color paint and stain. Or maybe it's the light vs dark fight? Just do NOT like it.

Q

Photo

Would like this, as I drew it though, in the main bath. For those who cannot picture the setup with just a drawing (ahem!), here's the actual photograph. More neutral wood stain, different faucets, and full trim 360 around mirror (versus moulding at top).

How would this look with the cellar stairwell wall behind the counter chairs? Is kitchen of adequate width?

Q

Photo

How would this wall of cabs and refrigerator look against stairwell wall? Or would an island with seating be better?

Q

I love the adjacent, rather than stacked, double ovens. For a height challenged person like me who loves to bake, the stacked ovens just don't cut it. I don't really care for the inset above them though- too deep for cookbooks and probably too high for me to enjoy its contents (I'd prefer lower cabs). And, as much as I love the overhead opening cabs, they're too much for a short person who doesn't love living with their stepstool constantly out.

Like this galley kitchen, like I'd have to have.
