This is somewhat what I've envisioned for the remodel of our kitchen: appliances pushed back with small island (2-3 stools, perhaps). sink in island would be ok, not cooktop. Out from island would be a "sitting are, but not sofa....possibly the window seat/bench that is already there/

Adding higher/bigger/bulkier end chairs makes sense for our current table. All 8 chairs we currently have are all the same.

Possibly for one of the guest baths? I like the neutral color. I don't care for the toilet, though
