this would be an interesting way to use the space in the existing closet as appliance storage since the extended pantry could store most of the regularly accessed stuff.

The floors are similar to ours, and with the white on white counters we are starting to like the dark island and also the tile here

like the idea of hiding as much stuff into drawers as possible, needs it to be easy to not let things pile up on the counters.
