The Bluestone needs to be well sealed otherwise it will stain. As long as the bluestone is kept well sealed it is easy to keep clean. No it is not slippery but does get hot in the sun.

This is actually natural cleft bluestone--we specified a very subtle color range and avoided using browns or lavenders in the palette.
