The master bathroom isn’t particularly large. Before the remodel, it had a vanity with one sink and a window above it, plus an old shower-tub combo. First, McIntosh had the tub removed and replaced it with a spa shower. Then she removed a window and added awning windows to make room for a double vanity and storage.Once the bathroom was finished, it was “very pretty but looked a little plain,” McIntosh says. She knew a Turkish rug was just the thing needed to add some personality.Find more double vanities for your home

To help it feel bright, she used wall mirrors and light colors. Alexeeva designed the vanity to fit the newly reconfigured room and used a sink the owners had been given. “The top looks like really nice stone but it’s actually a porcelain tile, so much less expensive,” she says.Tile on vanity and walls: PorcelanosaBrowse more homes by style: Apartments | Barn Homes | Colorful Homes | Contemporary Homes | Eclectic Homes | Farmhouses | Floating Homes | Guesthouses | Homes Around the World | Lofts | Midcentury Homes | Modern Homes | Ranch Homes | Small Homes | Townhouses | Traditional Homes | Transitional Homes | Vacation Homes
