Another way to add metal

Another way to integrate some mantle and break up the stone tower.

metal mantle

This is closer to what I had envisioned but centered and the stone to the ceiling what I like about this one is the way the windows create a natural stop for the walls. I think this type of window arrangement would work really well in the front of the house to create an architectural stop for the cabinets. There aren't many uppers but I really dislike cabinets that end into nothing. I would prefer cabinets to the ceiling but that isn't possible on the window wall. I think this look organized and clean to end cabinets at the windows. I can see from your drawings how the diamond shape windows repeat at both ends of the house. Could we still do that but have the windows in front continue in triangles along the length of the wall in the exact same way the windows do at the back of the house

This is an outdoor one but has a metal mantle. I had envisioned and rustic wood mantel but this could be interesting

This is similar to the one you sent. We are thinking about it . Would like it more like your photo with a thicker metal component. but had envisioned stone all the way up. More focus on stone and wood with the accent of metal for interest.
