We updated the painted brick fireplace with Gray Porcelain Tile, lowered the hearth, added a Valley White Granite slab on the floor surrounded by new dark oak floors. The flanking bookcases were painted Gray with a deeper Gray inset to create a nice backdrop. We had Coastal Remodeling and Construction, Adam Ridgeway, create a box between the old brick and the tile to house the wires for the TV and it's equipment.
