ok - here goes... love the offset spacing between the cabinetry and the wall - creates a nice separation. I would however go to the ceiling height - only due to dust. Also like the backsplash - dull/honed vs laquered/gloss of counter top and wrapping of teh defined space. Also appreciate the mimicry of form between the island/bar and the space.

Like the mix of open and closed shelving. I like the inlay cabinet doors with a soss hinge on the upper - brings out the form of the cabinet and door - transitional and clean.

want to explore this look a bit for long wall. Considering we have upper caboinets flush to the ceiling - this may be a good look and break up the monolith of cabinetry... Also a nice departure from using glass fronts... Something to think about... base and upper at 21"?

realy love the "wrap" of the marble enveloping the range top area and hood. Also love the hood detail here - the riveting is different.

this is more for the butler pantry - but wanted to show minimalist view - mix of steel and wood and exposed shelf detail. will use base ledge for wine decanters. Love the float element here and ceiling attachment.
