I love everything about this kitchen - two different cabinet colors, awesome custom mosaic, sleek countertops, and butcherblock top on island. Probably the closest to what I would like to do with our kitchen that I have seen so far!

The butcherblock counters are beautiful, and the marble or stone around the sink makes it even more practical...I may have to reconsider tile countertops for butcherblock.

Granite tiles would be an affordable possibility. I like the look of larger tile countertop and smaller tile backsplash.

I want darker bottom cabinets...thinking chocolate or espresso...with lighter upper cabinets. Solid granite is out of the budget, so probably a diy tile countertop.
