Footstool Project

Moving to our new home, our original coffee table was far too large and I was constantly banging my shins when moving around it to get to the sofa. I love fabrics and the elegant look of large footstools with trays on top to serve as a coffee table. On a tight budget whilst on maternity leave, I finally got around to creating this. It's not perfect but overall I'm really happy with it and know that if I change my mind on the fabric, I can simply change it later. The footstool is now my favourite thing in the room and has got me itching to realise my vision for the rest of the Living Room. In early 2017 when I return to work, I have a whole remodel planned...stay tuned for photos of the project.
