Not a fan of the sliding barn door in general. Unless there was a more modern or more industrial version maybe? Thinking about using one between the hallway and the kitchen/nook space but maybe a pocket door would be more efficient.

Besides the floor, I think the space is too showroomy... too modern and square and "designer". No on the backsplash and range choice too.

This one goes a little overboard. Floors are too rustic, and the overall effect is like a wedding cake. I don't like the edges on the countertops or the chandeliers. Coffering on the ceiling is too busy. Even fixtures are too detailed.
interesting layout but design seems dated to me.
