Kitchen Concept

Ok so with the kitchen, we are going to do a darker stained wood on the floors and would like to have the island have white cabinets with a dark stained butcher block top. We like all the white cabinetry. We are confused about the backsplash - is it just white subway tile? Is there a backslash of a separate design behind the stove at all? We really like the glass tile, again, so expensive, but maybe we can find a way to do something similar. We like light blue, light green and grey tones. In terms of the counter tops, we are fine with the white granite. We are wondering if there is a difference between "glacier" white and "Vermont" white as we liked Vermont a lot and saw a lot of examples of that kind. We like the hanging pendants chosen for the Laurelhurst design over the island. We like the kitchen cabinet pulls chosen for the Laurelhurst design.
