Hi! I have suggested this to a few of my collectors! If you have a large enough room anywhere you can put in a free floating wall with both sides dedicated to our art collection!

Stoneware Dresses Up as Marble This year, the trend of porcelain coverings inspired by natural materials was reflected above all in tile with colors and vein patterns imitating marble. Everything from the most expensive to the most colorful varieties were re-created in stoneware. Various shades of onyx, Carrara, Calacatta and Verona red marble were among the most sought-after imitations. The tiles on display also ranged from classic sizes to large, nearly 10-by-10-foot tiles.

This contemporary Mediterranean entry by Ryan Street & Associates is modestly scaled but highly refined in detail. The arched glass entrance door with sidelights was likely custom fabricated, and a unique low and square baseboard gives this space individuality. This arrangement measures about 66 to 72 in. (168 to 183 cm) wide and 72 to 96 in. (183 to 244 cm) long. The narrow table provides a place for accessories.

The custom mahogany-and-glass front door gives all who come knocking a preview of the craftsmanship inside. “One of our trim carpenters had spent the previous year tinkering with metal forging and made this 3-foot-long metal door handle,” Sullivan says.

Combine an entry, mudroom and pantry. This mudroom off the kitchen is a hardworking multifunctional space. The designers extended the style of cabinetry used in the kitchen and included extra pantry space in here. The homeowners can come in from the car with grocery bags and place them on the counter right away for unloading. The sink can serve as a hand-washing station (think muddy kids), bar sink and flower-cutting area. The coat-hook wall provides all the space for outerwear and shoes the homeowners need, as well as a bench.

Plan built-ins thoughtfully. At first glance these built-ins seem simple, but they are well-thought-out. There are baskets for shoes at the bottom, drawers for devices or gloves above those, cubbies big enough to sit in while putting on shoes, hooks for coats and bags, and baskets in the cubbies above for hats, umbrellas and other smaller accessories.

3 pairs of bunks with rope ladders that were tied by a local fisherman. The bunks are full sized so adults are also comfortably. Each bunk contains a cubby and electric outlets. There is also built in storage beneath the bunks. The space creates a bold, bright and fun environment.
