Really like this look and feel. Walls, ceiling, door boarders, paint, no fireplace needed.. but maybe some stone on the wall. ceiling maybe a little low.

Q

Photo

This photo relates to the previous. Love the door, cabinets are nice but not enough space. Master bath must be large.

Q

Photo

idea for master bed windows/deck. (I love Windows, deck, and ceiling- Liz) Peace Design and Locati Architects have a lot of projects we took ideas from.

Q

Photo

Like the counter space and stagger/sitting area but not necessarily the style

Q

Photo

Like how the tub has windows surrounding. For master bath upstairs. Can use the kind of glass that uses electricity to create privacy?

Q

Photo

The walk through shower idea, not the tiles or coloring. Wondering about not having glass doors. Like the rain shower and normal shower combo.

Q

Photo

Master closet with plenty of space, probably not a his and hers. Built Ins are similar to what we have in mind. Laundry access from master closet with dual access from outside.

Q

Photo
Photo

A little small but love the Windows, stone over range is a must, love pendant .. Would want three over the longer island.

Q

Photo

Different view of same kitchen

Q

Photo

this is a mix of 2 photos to show how kitchen wraps into pantry. See other kitchen photo for lake facing windows.

Q

Photo

Another view of same kitchen (again kitchen way too small but love the stone above range/windows)

Q

Photo

Huge walk in pantry, see other mash-up photo. Would want stone over range on outside wall with Windows

Q

Photo

having a mantle on the stone above range is a really cool idea. Integrate this into the style in previous photos.

Q

Photo

we like the idea of a cement counter top on the kitchen island. Here is an option where the ceiling isn't all wood ($ saving option) but this may not be the room to skimp.

Q

Photo

Fun use of concrete to make huge kitchen island.

Q

Photo

Island with interesting l-shaped levels. (Very cool, like a lot -L) Could see the higher part being concrete.

Q

Photo

another view of the island. (Love storage- L)

Q

Photo

Nice island with warming drawer on side. (I like this too, not the stain but the way its configured - JL)

Q

Photo

pantry ladder a must for Liz, plus its cool

Q

Photo

nice big pantry, just not a good color or style. Shape is close to what we have in mind.

Q

Must have! Crows nest, my office, but with some desk built ins (see later photo idea) Love the idea of a small deck. Circular stairs up to save space..see other photo for steps idea. (or could be main steps too if that works and saves) Some kind of ledge above the windows would be good.

Q

Photo

Crows nest office. Like the built ins and Windows. I really love the idea of being up high, having 360 (or near 360) views. Related to previous photo.

Q

Photo

Like the wood steps so much! Up to crows nest? Alternative steps down to wine cellar?

Q

Photo
Photo

A large screen area with fireplace, room for dining and sitting is a must. Do not want to skimp here. Design-wise this is a little rustic but do like the barn beams thrown in, don't like painted wood (have had issues with our current painted wood peeling) Most designs we like seem to have fireplace on other side of great room fireplace (sharing chimney). Assume its cheaper to do this than have separate fireplaces.

Q

Photo

screen or 4 season dining area

Q

Photo

Sleeping patio? $$ but hey, naps are important!

Q

Photo
Photo

Double door covered entry. Love the rustic look. Don't necessarily need this much stone.

Q

Photo

Interesting covered entrance with steps idea. Something that can be decorated during holidays etc.

Q

Photo

Like this entry. Nice use of stone without over doing it. Like double doors though. Captures the feel of entry into the home that I have in mind... Not overly grand but also roomy and comforting. We're not really fans of arched beams though.

Q

Photo

Another foyer example. (Like this ceiling better -Liz)

Q

Photo

Foyer with lots of stone example.

Q

Photo

Another foyer idea with a lot more window. Like the large beams used as room dividers.

Q

Photo
Photo

This ceiling is great. Not too dark, not overly rustic. Also like the idea of cement flooring. Also like how they integrate lighting into the ceiling and the use of metal.

Q

Photo

Floor lighting, uplighting, ceiling is nice (beams are nice, not barn wood but still rustic). This has a lighter look, not so dark rustic.. only issue is, I love those old hewn barn beams.

Q

Photo

Here is a more industrial look to break up the rustic. Concrete walls and floors combined with the wood ceiling. Not sure if this can be done anywhere but basement? Hewn barn beams of lighter color in ceiling is great. Love the ceiling.

Q

Photo

Great use of industrial and rustic. Really like how this feels. Is the concrete too trendy? Possible to mix into home somewhere?

Q

Photo

Left wall use of wood and stone and lighting is super cool. (Love this wall-L) Seems like a great way of having a bit of stone without driving up the costs. The less drywall in our home the better, but mixed with wood and stone is so much better.

Q

Photo

Like the use of stone and beams

Q

Photo

Like this ceiling.

Q

Photo

Love the ceiling and like wood around the beams. This particular home has some really cool design elements in it.

Q

Photo

Cool ceiling, I think you are getting the idea :)

Q

Photo

I like the stone broken wall idea.

Q

Photo

Like to have: I like the idea of stone in a stairwell with beams and metal. This particular one is quite rustic and beams are a little dark.

Q

Photo
Photo

The use of uneven stone on the fireplace is cool. More interesting than flatter rock like next photo.

Q

Photo

fireplace, nice wrap around ledge, narrowing of stone maybe saves $

Q

Photo
Photo

Must have: these lights. Would be cool to have one at the entrance with address marker, and a couple more leading up to the house. Like the turn-around with trees, stone etc. (but likely paved due to how long the driveway will be)

Q

Photo

Like the dark shingles and minimal use of stone. Really like the deck above garage. Generally like the idea of using above garage as living space. This is a really cool exterior. Precision Craft says turn-key cost for this home is around 900k

Q

Photo

This one has a lot of unique dimensions too it. Shows an example of less stone but still looking nice. Not married to this one.

Q

Photo

This is the exterior of the floor plan we've been looking at from Precision Craft "Eagle's Nest". See floor plan on last page.

Q

Photo

Just an example of a crows nest with deck.

Q

Photo

House has a nice feel to the exterior.

Q

Photo

interesting mix of barn wood and stone. Lots of stone though.

Q

Photo

This is a nice looking nor-son. Really like the drive through area. Exterior is a little one-color but still nice.

Q

Photo

Nice big windows

Q

Photo

Love love, but how to avoid ups driving into it? Cost? Maybe a future add-on?

Q

Photo

I like the cement border around the blacktop driveway. I'm not a fan of blacktop, but the length of ours probably requires it to save cost. Could be a future add, or only used up near house.

Q

Photo

I really want a wind sock on the house like this has. More interesting use of barn wood.

Q

Photo

Outside view of pass through area. This would be really fun but probably $$$.

Q

Photo

Love this dining room idea. Probably impractical for Minnesota but a really cool idea.

Q

Photo

I find this unique. Probably not practical but would be fun. Maybe a future connector to another space?

Q

Photo

Like the pass through with glass. Practical in mn? Expensive to break up into multiple home areas?

Q

Photo

Future screen porch out on the land between the lake and pond? Maybe an area for greenhouse?

Q

Photo

Really like the covered deck on 2nd floor. Off master? (not the craftsman style though) Would take away from view though.

Q

Photo
Photo

Must must have: separate wine cellar area in basement. Don't need the full area in the back (can be used for something else?) Nice to have: finished very similar to this. May or may not be conditioned (cost?)

Q

Photo

Can one sink basement flooring to allow for lower chairs? Smaller theater idea maybe in future phases depending on price. Doors and finish boring.

Q

Photo

Nice to have: Future theater - too big but love the design.

Q

Photo

Nice to have: Future theater entrance - love the design, over the top though. Key point: Cool stone work on this pillar - way more interesting than flatter stone work.

Q

Photo

Nice to have: Future theater - love the design with lanterns - smaller size.
