Having two different materials on the free standing fireplace (stone plus metal) is interesting

We like the long narrow fireplace for the great room. TV will go above it. We would love to be able to hide the TV when not in use. We are in decided about the material to be used on the wall of the great room where this fireplace is located - maybe stone. We like the tones and colors of the stone used in this project.
