You might remember this sink from Lauren and Kyle Zerbey's recent Houzz Tour. They wrapped their bathroom sink in teak plywood for a custom-looking finish. It's been treated with varnish, and thus far has held up well to moisture from the sink.

Thank you for the questions. The counter top is a plastic laminate by Pionite, color Olive Organix, over 1" Apple Ply plywood. The interior plywood paneling is AC fir plywood with a sanded face. It's been coated with a clear, water based sealant.

All of the layers of flooring were removed down to the plywood sub floor. Then it was stained with a dark wood color and coated with a semi gloss polyurethane.
