Really really interesting space--love the couches. The contrast between the warmth and dark colors of the room with the lines and modernity of the couches works. I wouldn't have these couches in my house but they're very aesthetically interesting within this space.

Another great example of TV and fireplace. Very modern looking and the asymmetry of the lines really works the way it was designed. Not a huge fan of the white brick but it adds a more modern look to a rustic space

LOVE the book archway. The white is a little sterile to me but it really accents the geometry and architecture of the house. Personally I would prefer different paint, something warmer--maybe a beige or light brown. The black and white is a little stark compared to the decor.

Love the bones on the wall, the high ceilings and the wood. Having the wall as the focal point but leaving the decor simplistic really makes the patterns of the wood shine. Not sure I like the formation of the couches but I can see that it creates a cozy space surrounding the window. It cuts some of the wide space in the room which seems necessary because there is so much wall space.

Again it's the colors here that get me. I'm a huge fan of warm reds and yellows, they're very comforting and homey--they remind me of my living room at home. Again the windows bring in natural light but there's a definite warmth that comes from the lighting within the room itself.

I love the warmth of this room. The openness and yet comfort is really appealing to me. I love the beiges and warm yellow lighting. The chandelier is beautiful and really brings together the sense of modern rustic style to the room.
