It is made of tubular steel around the perimeter and small square horizontal pieces welded to the middle face of sheet metal. PRO Ibarra Rosano Design Architects It's a custom gate, designed by Ibarra Rosano Design Architects and fabricated by Graphic Iron.

The tree sculpture was custom made with Cor-ten steel and the gate was custom made with powder coated aluminum slats, as was the background fence.

Hugh Jefferson Randolph Architects The fence is painted steel. If painted with a weather proof industrial grade paint it should last a long time. But will need occasional maintanemce.
