This is a great use of the Tectus hinge. The deep and sculptural jamb detail makes a butt hinge unsightly. 2-1/4" solid door. The Finish is Simonswerk's beautiful Satin Nickel.

Another instance where getting veneers to line up requires the adjustability of a 3-D hinge like Tectus. Tectus concealed hinges come in 10 standard architectural finishes in North America including Rustic Umber and Metallic Bronze.

Heavy doors that need to be adjusted precisely to make the design sing are only possible if you use the TECTUS hinge system. Otherwise, as a facilities management cost, the hinges become a liability.

The Tectus 3-D adjustable concealed hinge system offers capacities from 88lbs. to 660lbs. with only two hinges installed. Here the extra hinges do little for the capacity and were used to keep these tall doors in check should the doors move.

These are the old TE 310 3Ds, but give you a good sense of where a hinge like Tectus can shine. Once closed, you'd never know that bathroom was there.

One of my favorites of the Tectus hinge photos. Modern 21st century hinge technology that looks handsome in any situation.

Getting veneers lined up across the gap from wall to the door surface is pretty much impossible with any other concealed hinge let alone on a larger door. The Tectus 3-D adjustable hinge provides painless tweaking. And it looks great even when it isn't hiding.

To get the gaps all even on the left wall is an installer's nightmare unless you have a 3-D adjustable concealed hinge like the Tectus.

This is an office environment but these sandwich doors look slick. Tectus even offers models that allow you to use up to a 8mm cladding, like a mirror, on the outside of the door. Your mirrored closet doors can open out without needing to see a anything but the 1/8" gap between.

Imagine these doors with 6 butt hinges rearing their ugly barrels. Thank goodness for Tectus concealed hinges.

This is one of Simonswerk's stock photos for the Tectus. These hinges are perfectly at home in the most modern environments. Their slick and clean looks don't take away from the cleanest slickest designs.

Sometimes you are best going butt-less. Here, a butt hinge would've made this deep jamb detail look ugly, to say the least. The TECTUS concealed hinge is completely hidden. And it held up this heavy door (200 lbs)with only two hinges installed. And they are 3-D adjustable, so when the house settled, it didn't take but a couple of turns of a hex key to get it back to perfect alignment.
