Reply to: Good questions! Yes, there are guidelines for pendant light placement. We begin with the bottom of the light at 36" above the countertop or table top. Then adjust as needed depending on the ceiling height, shape of the chandelier, etc. These lantern lights look to be about 40" above the island countertop. (36" high counter + 40" to bottom of lantern = 76" aff (above finished floor). And Yes again, you do want to be able to see underneath the light and not have it block your view. Reply to: Thank you! So glad to hear you like the beam color! This distressed gray wash took much experimentation and samples on the part of our artistic faux painter. He layered a pecan stain color and gray wash paint until our design team determined that it was just right! He did a great job! Very thankful for gifted craftsmen!!
