Another headboard option. Since your headboard will be prominent in your space (provided you like them, of course!) it will direct the rest of the space.

Because your room doesn't get a huge amount of light, I would do the walls lighter and the accents darker. A solid headboard is great grounding (feng shui) and an upholstered one is comfy. Darker furniture is a plus. You are getting new furniture in there, right?
