This is the type of floor that Lisa would like throughout the house.
Another design with Trespa Panels.
Some wood is ok. Prefer woodgrain metal, like Longboard.
Trespa panels are great to use to clad the exterior- very cool look. I wonder if it’s cost-effective?
I like the use of different materials for the exterior. I'd prefer to stay away from real wood. This house looks cool.
Need the LED lighting below the cabinets in the laundry room!
Love the gate idea, instead of crates... for the dog (s)
Good use of space. Need larger sink. Hooks aren't a bad idea. Prefer cupboards over shelves.
That driveway looks better than pavers and better than concrete or asphalt by themselves. That'll be our driveway!
Don't love this landscape, but we plan to remove the tiny circular driveway and utilize the front yard for landscaping. The caveat to that is that we'd want the front walkway to be obvious, wide, and inviting up to the front doorway.
Pavers and cool modern plants, appropriate lighting...
Interesting idea to insulate existing block walls and then veneer the outside walls.
Not necessary exactly our look, but if we work around the existing metal roof, we can create a similar modern look with rooflines like this, to the left and right. I really want to avoid any flat roofs that would pool water (over time).
Not our decor, but this struck me as a very comfortable, intimate way to arrange a family room.
Good use of space. Bathtub is placed so as not to see it from the doorway. I wouldn't put toilet room right next to master bedroom. I'd either put it somewhere else in the room or put a closet/floor to ceiling cupboard nearer to the doorway.
Really like how the sink is inset into the wall flanked by cupboard doors, so that countertop is flush with the wall.
Cool looking wall behind bathtub. May not need or want all those niches.
Maybe this type of "water feature" could be built over a cantilevered roof that juts out over the pool?
The use of pavers is fantastic and allows the visitor to walk more slowly and look at the objects and landscape around them, instead of walking quickly and missing so many things. (Thanks Richard for this info).
Too rustic looking, but really like the cantilevered "floating" overhangs. Great way to shade from the sun.
I like the use of the other material on the upper level, though we can't and don't want a second story. I also like the ?concrete on the structure that contains the house numbers. I really like the house numbers that are illuminated. The front door and front walkway are great too.
Like the modern look.
I like the use of the Hardie panels on the outside of the house.
Front glass is great. Overhanging roof is a definite "want".
Cool mailbox design.
I like the negative edge pool and sauna
Like the big window to outside. Would like to keep it cleaner, somehow, by blocking water (from the sink) from splashing on it.
I like the cantilevered roof
Can this type of pool be in back of property? I like the water feature and the raised pool.
Maybe use a walkway over the pool, so that even though the pool is close to house, it invites guests to walk across to the rest of the yard.
Interesting how the house is built over the pool. But pool not quite big enough for kids to play in.
Like the landscape, walkways and address wall
I like the grill under the roof and off to the side.
Great outdoor area. Cabinets are not needed, but grill could be off to the side and shaded by the wall and shallow ceiling.
Interesting way to put the grill outside, but protect it from the heat.
Tucking the grill in a corner is fine. Also, protection from the sun is important. Too close to house (smoke smell).
Pretty cool idea. Not sure the counter top material would tolerate our weather. Like the doors that open.
I love the overhanging roofs and use of glass
Cool look
Like the landscape and use of steel supports
Just a cool space
I like the water feature
Love the planting, thought it might be hard to keep them looking this way?
Great look with metal and block - Can we get a similar look with metal-looking tiles?
Cool water feature
Lisa likes this. The sheen of black can vary from flat, which may appear unfinished to some people, to high gloss- which shows scratches and fingerprints and is too glitzy. There are sheens in between that I’m sure we can agree on. Also, we can review the surface distinction options can be found in manufactured finishes.
