Idea for family room shelving (eventually). I like the thick shelving, and I like the fact that the vertical and horizontal boards are the same thickness.

I like the idea of wood cabinets with lighter colored counter tops. I'm not advocating the particular color of wood or counter tops though....

I like the second tier ledge; I don't like much else. I do think we need lights like this (high hats) though...
