Kitchen Ideas

This has the "extra room"; tiled floors; an inviting island, although I would want the lip higher for bar stools or high chairs; the bricks make the kitchen a clear distinct room while still open in design.

I like the layout, but would like it to be brighter. The concept of the island being the main center of the kitchen fits and can host a casual gathering without disrupting the "flow" of the kitchen. The dining room here would be an interesting fit for our home given the woods. The windows here would be a great visual over the property.

This is the exact island layout I am looking for. 2 on each side. The only thought would be potentially adding more horizontal space to fit 2X4X2.
