Euphorbia rigida ), Senecio vitalis (Blue Chalk Fingers), Anigozanthos flavidus (Kangaroo Paw), Agave attenuata (Fox Tail Agave), and some sort of ornamental grass. The blooming Euphorbia rigida (Gopher Plant) is what makes the biggest statement.

The front two are sedums -The blue one is Sedum reflexum 'Blue Spruce' and the other is a Sedum spurium (I don't recall the variety, It may be 'Red Carpet'). The one flowering toward the back is a Dianthus (firewitch or frosty fire). These plants do best in well-drained soil with full sun. This project is in Minneapolis, MN which is zone 4 (usda hardiness)

The plant behind the tree ( which is an Acacia stenophylla or shoestring acacia) is Thamnochortus insignis or Thatching Reed. This restio grows 4'-6' tall and has beautiful grass like foliage topped with bronze flowers.

The grass behind the water bowl is Juncus 'Carman's Japanese' or Carman's Japanese Rush. It grows 3' wide and 2 1/2' - 3' tall.
