This is called Venato Carrara, it has a whiter base, according to the builder/seller, seems less variegation in tone. I think I like it better, what do you think? We DON'T like the size of this tile, looks cinder-block y- but trying to decide between 12/12 or 12/18 vs. 3x 12 or 4 x 12. ??

this is bianco carrera, it's got some variety of tones but still in cool grey. At least I'd call that cool grey?! so with what you're suggesting, which we think we like, we'd go with chrome fixtures but the cabinets a little darker? and floor quite dark? (NOT tile on the wall, just asking about the amenities and how they work with the tile)

what about a 12 x 12 or even a 18 x 12 block? We like the look here of a solid wall, but will it work just as well with our slanted ceiling? I'll ask the tiler/contractor about it too.

Is this what you have in mind for the shower and shower floor? what do you suggest for the insets? We LOVE your suggestions for contrast in the color of cabs and a much darker floor, BUT we are hoping to go with a marble tile floor, on second thought. Can you give some suggestions for that?

much prefer Kailas recommendation of all same size tile on walls of shower, MAYBE this is 'bianco' carrara tile? this shows the variegation in colors/movement that is typical for these marble tiles. Size? shade of grey? this looks like less of the sandy/warm shades that we saw in the bianco.
