This picture displays Lighting used to Emphasize. The lighting around the bar is used to emphasize that particular part of the kitchen, and it does so perfectly.

The color white, shown in this picture, is used to conceal. The white cabinets do a great job of concealing the fireplace.

This room is an example of a color scheme taken from a picture. The mural pictured on the wall includes whites, blacks and red. The designer of this room chose to incorporate these colors, taken from the mural, into the room. Therefore, the chairs are red, the cushions are white, and the table is black to match the color scheme already in place by the mural.

This room displays an Achromatic color scheme. Only black and white colors can be seen throughout this room and therefore, it is an Achromatic room.

This room displays Complimentary colors. The red and green color cabinets and opposite on the color wheel and therefore, complimentary.

This living room displays Analogous colors. It contains blues, greens, and yellows, which can be seen all throughout the room. Since at least 3 adjacent colors are used, this room would fall into the Analogous color scheme perfectly.

This bedroom is a great example of Monochromatic colors. The only color used in this room is blue, and it can be seen in the curtains, pillows, bedding, headboard, and lamps.

This room is an example of a warm color scheme. The burnt orange wall color and golden yellow bedding and curtains bring the warmth into this room.
