I love the open shelving that acts a divider between the rooms without literally closing off the space, though I would probably knock things onto the floor. I also adore the combination of warm wood and lighting and the dark green. I would seriously consider this for my own kitchen.

The accent wall is fantastic! And the contrast of light wood with black cabinets is very successful. Also, hardwood floor is preferable to tile, at least aesthetically here.

Seriously coveting that fireplace. Also, while I don't need lots of distressed wood, and I shy away from heavy wooden tables because they can easily bog down a space and be cumbersome, I do like wooden tables with character.

I love the built-in shelves in the island, and how the island and breakfast nook are both oriented inward. I also just noticed the lovely soft teal brick backsplash.

I like that the upper and lower shelves are two different colors. It easily adds color to the room without resorting to dramatic bolds on stark white. Also love the wooden roof, because I need some wood in my rooms.

More of the same kitchen! More space than I was expecting. I love that it brings in the wood on the cabinets on the island, and I really do like islands.
