BRISE SOLEIL: another angle of same.

Q

BRISE SOLEIL design: for above garage doors and above south window.

another STAIR GUARD example, here in a screen porch

Q

another STAIRS example

Q

Photo

STAIR GUARD/RAILING: balusters in 4-gauge, 4-inch square wire mesh (as here: http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/feedlot-panel-sheep-goat-16-ft-l-x-48-in-h).

Q

Photo

WINDOW INTERIOR TRIM: frameless trim as here, with drywall returns, except for stool in wood (cumaru here; ours can be stained poplar).

Q

Photo

WINDOW TRIM: another similar example

Q

Photo

WINDOW TRIM: example here of how far jambs should protrude beyond Hardie panel facade -- 3".

Q

Photo

WINDOW/OPENING TRIM: sim to here, with proud jambs in natural 1x wood but protruding farther (cedar? mahogany? ipe?). Barn will be dark-painted, like this, as well.

Q

Photo

WINDOW south facade: like these classic Estes/Twombly 2x2 square-ish windows but in double-hung instead of casement. Plans spec as: Andersen ADH 3450 (rough opening 3'4" x 5'). Can it be wider?

Q

Photo
Photo

garage door style: black metal (or maybe fiberglas, see options), narrow horizontal bands, similar to commercial roll-up.

Q

Photo

Cladding is Hardie panel throughout, with board & batten trim. Trim is 1x2, 12” o.c. on bottom (from roof line down), and doubled to 6” o.c. on top on south façade.
