This type of daybed idea looks like it could double as a bed and as a place to sit when she has friends. Kerensa does not want a bunk bed anymore and has a bed in mind... Also she is probably not so into pink now.

I think this set up is good for the little room. Kerensa definitely needs a desk. We do a lot of reading with the kids before bed too. I guess though if some toys leave the living room maybe more will go to the bedroom?
Curtains are a bit thin. I wonder if some easy to clean blinds are best?
